Pastellum was born out of passion. On February 23 in the year 2015 Pastellum became a fact. It has been 5 years since I registered with the Chamber of Commerce after a night shift when I was still a nurse. With a business plan in my hands, but above all a lot of passion for soft pastels. Because my goal was to bring soft pastel more to the attention, to put soft pastel on the map, to let people experience what it can offer. And it can do a lot! From drawing-like to painterly, from ala prima to working with more layers, dry or with underpainting (different types). From working only with pastel pencil to only with pastel chalk or even with PastellPaste! Old and proven methods are used, but new techniques are tested and also put on the map!

Pastellum has become a household name in recent years, having gone from a hobby that has gotten a bit out of hand. I stopped working as a nurse and now only focus on the colorful medium of pastel! Workshops, courses and open studios are given. From beginners to advanced!
